Stellar Data Recovery for Mac[1] previously known as Stellar Phoenix Mac Data Recovery[2][3][4][5][6][7] is a data recovery utility for Mac computers developed by Stellar[8]. This data recovery software is used to recover lost files, video, Photos, etc. from storage device, like internal or external hard drive, SD memory cards, Pen drives, Flash Drive etc.[9][10][11][12][13][14] This software supports APFS, HFS, HFS+, NTFS, FAT & ExFAT file systems. The software can recover files deleted from Time Machine (macOS) external storage media, BootCamp Partition and Encrypted hard drives. A free edition of this utility allows users to recover up to 1 GB of data for free.[15][16]

I tried Stellar Phoenix and Disk Drill to recover files on my Mac Mini hard drive. During the run, I found Stellar Phoenix as more robust and quick. It scanned 500 GB drive and recovered deleted video files. All of them are running good in QT player. Though, Stellar Phoenix is slightly ($10) costly than the Disk Drill home version.
